Can a family with monthly income RM3,000 survive in SABAH

Recently I received a mail from a friend...
with a title...
"Can a family man with Salary RM3,000 survive in Malaysia "
To be more specific...
Let's do some calculations about...
"Can a family with MONTHLY INCOME RM3,000 SURVIVE in SABAH"
Because i am a SABAHAN mah...
To make things easy...
We start with a simple family that have FATHER,MOTHER,and TWO CHILDREN...
where the father and mother WORK LIKE HELL EVERYDAY...
Let's take RM3,000 as the PIAWAI...
Meals : RM600
(for dinner only...)
Lunch for mum and dad : RM200
(lunch during working hour...)
Children pocket money : RM 160
(RM4/day,as school in Sabah finish at 3pm everyday...)
Petrol : RM400
(for two most economical car "KANCIL 660CC"...)
Car repayment : RM700
(RM350 each car...)
House Repayment : RM500
(a simple huts maybe low cost one...)
Electricity and water bill : RM100
(No air-con(just fan),no water heater(cold water direct from the pipe)...)
Phone Bill : RM 120
(minimum phone call and streamxy...)
Handphone reload : RM120
(RM30 for each family member...)
Miscellaneous : RM100
(minyak masak,sauce,sugar and so on...)
NGAM NGAM RM3000(titik pulang modal)...
that mean...
NO YAMCHA...
(when no yamcha then no BERTZ to watch...)
NO ASTRO...
(watch RTM 1&2, TV3, NTV7 lo...)
NO MOVIE IN CINEMA...
(borrow CD or DVD from Fren lo...)
NO MAGAZINE...
(borrow books from the library lo is free mah...)
NO SHOPPING...
(wait until MEGASALES baru go shopping la...)
NO TUITION...
(depend on yourself lo pay full attention in class la...)
NO PIANO LESSON...
(Learn by self study LO...)
NO VACATION...
(read books about those place lo...)
NO SAVING...
(no need saving la the interest is so low...)
AND A LOT OF "NO"....
With RM3000 salary...
It only can memenuhi keperluan asas manusia...
and memenuhi sebahagian kecil kehendak manusia...
(if u don't understand "keperluan and kehendak manusia" try to find it in economic BOOKS...)
with this kind of income...
we live a life that are simple and unentertainment...
HOWEVER...
SADLY to say that there are a lot of SABAHAN out there...
where their salary don't reach RM1500...
The goverment keep asking the RAYKAT to change lifestyle...
The problem no on the raykat...
whether they change o not...
The problem is everything is changing...
BUT ...
OUR ...
SALARY ...
NEVER ...
CHANGE...
unless we get promote to a higher position...
how many higher position do we have...
nothing we can do...
AND we still have to DEal with it...
